Jersey was chosen as the primary backdrop for this story primarily because of the islands unfortunate occupation by Adolf Hitler’s Nazi’s during WW2.
The tumultuous waters and sheer cliffs on the northern coast of this stunning island were the ideal and natural setting for this novel about forgotten U-boat hidden gold bullion and Hitler’s most prized possession – the Spear of Destiny.
I visited the island many times prior to and during the writing of this novel and talked to some very interesting and hospitable people.
